1- Duty Station Rabba Sarhan: - I Have carried out protection interviews with Refugees, and referred most of them to Community Service in Zatari camp. - Interviewed Refugees were categorized as : women at risk, single parents, the elderly, serious Medical conditions (in cooperation with IOM and ICRC members). - also conducted interviews with unaccompanied and separated children, child spouse, and other children at risk. all cases were referred respectively to the Child Protection Unit and / or SGBV unit in Zatari and Azraq camp. -Interviewed the children who were formerly associated with armed forces, victims of torture, and those refugees who have been detained in Syria. all were referred to the relevant partners in both Zatari and azraq camps. - Also conducted a consultation and advocating for refugees with legal issues and legal protection needs, including with refugees who were at risk of refoulement, military deserters, and forged documents. - Prepare the COI) country of origin’s information) in the end of each shift. - prepare the protection unit"s statistics (using MS excel) and send them along with the everyday"s reports. 2- Duty station Zatary camp: - Handling all kinds of Protection case management. - Supporting cases at the civil status department (to issue the proper documentation). - Cooperating with the partners in monitoring the activities in the field. - Maintaining the communication with the partners and the authorities. - Dealing with the cases of " at risk of refoulement. - Observing the process of the spontaneous returns. - preparing the reports, drafting the meetings minutes and report to the main office in Amman. 3- Other tasks: - cooperating with IOM by covering the night shifts and receive the buses of newly arrived refugees. - supporting the RSD unit in Khalda office by conducting the cases and interviews. - Welcoming the delegations from other UN agencies, governmental representatives (such as the Canadian parliament, Russian Embassy, EU Council, and others). |
